Description: The U8700 is a high-performance power switch designed for off-line flyback power supplies. The U8700 has an internal high-precision 65kHz switching frequency oscillator with buffing to optimize EMI performance. The chip operates in green energy saving mode and burp mode, which can guarantee standby power consumption of less than 75mW. The U8700 integrates complete protection functions, including: VDD undervoltage protection (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle by cycle current limit, short circuit protection (SCP), overload protection (OLP), overheat protection, soft start, VDD clamping and CS pin open protection.
